Our team at the Torrance orthodontist office often get asked how one can finish their treatment faster. It’s important to understand that the length of time you will need for your orthodontic treamtent will depend on the complexity of your case as well as the amount of time you wear your aligners.
Here at Breeze Orthodontics, Torrance's favorite board certified orthodontists, we pride ourselves in providing the best outcomes possible for our patients. To do this, we take the time study each case and plan them well. At our office, we avoid extractions as much as possible without compromising treatment. One of the tools we use to do this is the Bolton Analysis. Bolton analysis gives orthodontists an objective way of evaluating a possible extraction cases.
The best time to correct major orthodontic problems is when the child is still growing. Not only are bone structures softer, they regenerate quicker making orthodontic treatment more effective during early ages vs. later in life.
Our team at our Breeze Orthodontics, located in Torrance CA, want every child to grow up with a healthy smile. Like with any health problem, it is better to prevent than to treat when it's too late. The American Association of Orthodontics (AAO) recommends that all children receive an orthodontic screening by age 7. Permanent teeth generally begin to come in at age 6 or 7. It is at this point that orthodontic problems become apparent.
As one of the leading board-certified orthodontists in Torrance, Breeze Orthodontics sees a number of interesting transfer cases. Most are from people who just moved to a new area, and just need an orthodontist to continue the good work of their original orthodontist in another state. But there are a few cases where the treatment plan were very questionable.
We would like to thank all of you who have visited Breeze Orthodontics, Torrance's favorite place for braces and Invisalign. On December 16th, 2017, we will be hosting a "Winter Wonderland" theme party with the Torrance Fire Department.
One of the main questions we are asked at our Torrance Braces and Invisalign specialty practice is, "Why choose a skilled ABO Board-Certified orthodontist like our very own Dr. Rita, vs. some of the online impression kits, such as Smile Direct club? One strong compelling reason is only a skilled orthodontist will have the in depth knowledge of bite correction.
At Breeze Orthodontics, the Torrance Invisalign and aesthetic options experts we are always finding new ways to help teens and young adults who live active lifestyles. Some of us here at Breeze Orthodontics have grown up wearing metal braces, along with being called "metal mouth" and all sort's of harsh names growing up. We like to take a moment to highlight some of our Aesthetic options to help our teens and socially active patients.
We here at Breeze Orthodontics (formerly Eckhart Orthodontics), Torrance's leading Invisalign experts, have been using 3D scanners to take digital impressions for our Invisalign cases since Itero release their first scanner back in 2007. Back then, scanners were very slow compared to conventional impressions, but Dr. Eckhart still saw the advantages of 3D scanning. 10 years later, we're upgrading our 3D scanning and 3D orthodontics capabilities, we like to take a look back on why we choose 3D scanning over conventional impressions.
